Tabebuia avellanedae or Tabebuia impetiginosa
Also known as Lapacho, La Pacho, Pau d'Arco, Taheebo, Ipe Roxo or Tabebuia. Is often used for infections such as SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) and sinus infections. Candida Albicans, and Vaginitis. Now being studied for its effect against some parasites, bacteria, and fungii. May help in tuberculosis, anthrax, polio, and diabetes. The effect of this herb is enhanced when used as a tea by the addition of Stevia leaf.
